Talks

Following Mr El-Naggar’s talk on CHILDHOOD ILLNESSES AND ALLERGIES, in the first half of 2009, which was greatly appreciated by young parents, the world authority on bone diseases, Dr Richard Keen of The Royal National Orthopedic Hospital, gave a Talk entitled BONES AND GROANS – Improving Care for People with Osteoporosis and Arthritis to 173 people packed into the Memorial Hall. It was a resounding success and villagers were still talking about it and eagerly forward the next Talk which was entitled ‘AFFAIRS OF THE HEART – HEART ATTACKS, STROKES, FAINTS, CHOLESTEROL AND TESTS’ by Dr Mike Dubowitz of the QE2 Hospital.
